Press Club Of Western PA Announces 2019 Golden Quill Winners
PITTSBURGH, May 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Press Club of Western Pennsylvania announced the winners of the 55th Golden Quill Awards during an awards presentation tonight at the Rivers Casino, Pittsburgh. The Golden Quills competition recognizes professional and student excellence in print, broadcast, photography, videography and digital journalism in Western Pennsylvania and nearby counties in Ohio and West Virginia.

Matt Churella, a native of Patton, Cambria County, and a junior at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, was awarded the 2019 Bob Fryer Memorial Scholarship. Gabriella DiPietro of Oakmont, a junior at Duquesne University, received 2019 The Press Club Scholarship.
