President Bill Clinton to Deliver Keynote Address at Press Ganey National Client Conference
BOSTON, June 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Press Ganey, the leading patient experience improvement firm, today announced that President Bill Clinton will deliver a keynote address at the company's 2014 National Client Conference in November. The annual event provides a forum for more than 2,000 health care professionals from across the continuum of care to learn, collaborate and discuss innovations to improve the patient experience.
"President Clinton is one of the nation's foremost advocates for improving global health," said Patrick T. Ryan, CEO of Press Ganey. "We are honored to welcome him to the conference as we bring together health care leaders to explore the path to delivering more patient-centered care."
William Jefferson Clinton was the first Democratic president in six decades to be elected twice – first in 1992 and then in 1996. Under his leadership, the country enjoyed the strongest economy in a generation and the longest economic expansion in U.S. history, including the creation of more than 22 million jobs.
After leaving the White House, President Clinton established the Clinton Foundation with the mission to improve global health, strengthen economies, promote health and wellness, and protect the environment.
In addition to his Foundation work, President Clinton has served as the top United Nations envoy for the Indian Ocean tsunami recovery effort and as the UN Special Envoy to Haiti. Today, the Clinton Foundation is supporting economic growth, capacity building, and education in Haiti.
President Clinton was born on August 19, 1946, in Hope, Arkansas. He and his wife Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton have one daughter, Chelsea, and live in Chappaqua, New York.
