Preschoolers, Kindergartners, to Perform Official School Choice Week Dance
RIO RICO, Ariz., Jan. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 100 preschoolers and kindergartners at Calabasas School will give a special performance of the official National School Choice Week Dance at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24.
Parents, staff, and prospective families will attend the performance, which will take place at Calabasas School's elementary field. After the dance, National School Choice Week scarves and information will be distributed to attendees.
This event is planned to coincide with the history-making celebration of National School Choice Week 2019, which will feature more than 40,000 school choice events across all 50 states.
"We will be celebrating our school community and how every child deserves a motivating education," said Lizzy Menefee, preschool coordinator at Calabasas School. "These students will grow up to be tomorrow's leaders."
Calabasas School is a public school serving students in grades Pre-K-8 in a close-knit atmosphere of learning.
As a nonpartisan, nonpolitical public awareness effort, National School Choice Week shines a positive spotlight on effective education options for students, families, and communities around the country.
