Preqin 2016 Report: Israeli VC fund, Glilot Capital Partners, is Ranked as One of the Best Performing Funds in the World

Glilot Capital Partners is one of the most successful funds in the world of the vintage years 2010-2013, according to The 2016 Preqin Alternative Assets Performance Monitor report that was recently published. The report is considered to be the most comprehensive review of the industry available today.
The ranking includes large databases for alternative assets fund performance - 8,660 + private capital funds and 14,300+ hedge funds. Of those, 80 are Israel-focused VC funds with performance data on the database which was used for the study.
Glilot Capital Partners with 92.2% Net IRR was ranked twice in the report in two categories: in 3rd place out of the top ten performing Venture Capital Funds of vintage 2010-2013 and in 5th place out of the top ten Performing Private Equity Funds of vintage 2010-2013. Glilot is the only Israel-based venture capital fund to make the list.
Other top ranked Israeli VCs in the report were Pontifax and JVP who were ranked as most consistent top performing venture capital fund managers. Global VCs which are active in Israel and were also mentioned in this category are Sequoia Capital, Caanan Partners and Battery Ventures with their US funds. Since the crisis in 2008, a new generation of a VCs has risen. The focus and the new model of these VCs brings results. Examples of this are Lool Ventures, Inimity, StageOne and others.
