Premier horse and cattle farm with luxury home set for July 18 auction
ONEIDA, Tenn., June 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Coffey Farm, a 767-acre horse and cattle farm with rolling pastures, lakes and a luxury home, will be offered at auction Saturday, July 18. Ayers Auction and Real Estate Company is marketing the property and managing the event in cooperation with Target Auction Company.
"This is a ranch of stunning beauty, equally suited for grazing horses and cattle, with several barns to serve pastures in different parts of the property," said Jeff Hathorn, of Target Auction. "It has miles of wooden fences, along with stocked lakes, waterfalls and rock formations. It also has abundant deer and turkey and has not been hunted in several years."
The main house sits on 107 acres high above a small canyon, with an infinity pool and two levels of walkways overlooking a stocked lake below. "The owner assembled this ranch over time and has managed it with pride and care," said Hathorn.
The ranch, located in Scott County, has more than 20 miles of trails for hiking and riding. In all, the land will be offered in 49 parcels, with most parcels ranging between six and 93 acres.
"With seven houses in all, I expect there will be a lot of people who see this as an opportunity to buy a home and perhaps some pasture or woodland surrounded by incredible views. There are some attractive homes in here, including a two-story, three-bedroom log cabin on 60 acres," said Hathorn.
The auction will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at the home. Online bidding will also be available. Selling separately will be construction and farm equipment, vehicles, guns and other personal property.
