Powerful solution supports healthcare organizations in ICD-10 transition

- Reference Tool: PrecyseCDI features an integrated reference tool that replaces hard-copy manuals, providing CDI specialists and coders with diagnostic-level findings including MCCs, CCs and quality-related measures as well as documentation strategies to alert them to impacts due to severity of illness, risk of mortality, hierarchical condition categories and comorbid conditions. With this tool, users can compare up to three codes or DRG's on their screen at one time and use the tool to guide their clinical review or coding assessment.
- Validation Process: PrecyseCDI's validation process provides a more accurate method of accounting for the impact of the CDI program by eliminating any inadvertent "double-counting." The technology provides a validation list and allows CDI specialists to address all cases with a CDI Final Recommended DRG and Coding Final DRG that do not match, delivering a more robust way to perform queries, and providing an opportunity for coders and CDI specialists to sign off on the coding summary together – ensuring that all clinical findings and specificity have been addressed in the coding findings.
