Industry Alliance Gives Growers Nationwide Access to Big Data at the Field-Level

With a shared stance on data privacy, security concerns and sustainable agriculture goals, the partnership between GiSC and Farmers Edge provides grower members in 37 states access to the company's Precision Solutions package. GiSC growers will now have the flexibility to view data on both the AgXchange™ and Farmers Edge platforms, bringing together the cutting edge hardware and software with trusted advisors to facilitate the transition from intuition-based to data-based decision making on the farm.  

Yield is the scorecard of precision agriculture, and Precision Harvest Map is a core part of Farmers Edge Smart Solutions™ farm management platform. Utilizing patent pending calibration and industry-leading yield processing technology, Precision Harvest Map provides an accurate view of yield variability across a field even where multiple combine units are operating. Through this partnership, GiSC and AgXchange are offering these maps to new members free of charge.  These maps will also be included in an introductory offer to those who opt for the Smart Solutions package from Farmers Edge to increase access for growers looking for a fully integrated platform.
