Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) are publicly announced set of standards that describe document processing, encryption algorithms and other information technology standards developed by the United States federal government for use in computer systems. The purpose of FIPS is to ensure that all federal government and agencies adhere to the same guidelines regarding security and communication.
"Like the US Department of Defense, the largest banks in the world and the largest health care providers in the USA depend on Pragma's SSH product line to securely access and transfer files in their networks, and we continuously update our security certifications, " says David Kulwin, CTO of Pragma Systems.
