Practice Fusion Doubles Office Space with New Lease

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Practice Fusion, the country's largest physician-patient community, announced today that it has signed a lease for new headquarters in San Francisco with Zynga, which will double the size of Practice Fusion's existing office space.  The new space is located at 650 Townsend St. in the South of Market (SOMA) neighborhood of San Francisco.  Practice Fusion will occupy the building starting in mid-2014.  The 650 Townsend St. building is within close proximity to other leading technology companies including Airbnb, Pinterest, Salesforce and Adobe.

The announcement follows a year of rapid growth for Practice Fusion, which has surpassed 300 employees, raised $85 million in a Series D funding round led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and added offices in Palo Alto, Calif. and Seattle, Wash. The new headquarters will support the company as it expands its platform for patients and drives innovative healthcare initiatives in 2014, while preserving Practice Fusion's culture, which includes a dog-friendly environment, free employee meals, and a company-provided FitBit^TM, among other perks.

Practice Fusion will partner with RAPT Studios, an award-winning, multidisciplinary design practice based in San Francisco, to convert this to a state-of-the-art space that fits the specific needs of Practice Fusion and its growing employee base.
