ADP AdvancedMD, CollaborateMD and NueMD have signed on to be the first to use Practice Fusion's billing API to develop fully integrated solutions for medical professionals on the EMR. Practices and providers have unique needs as they care for patients and manage their practices in a rapidly-changing healthcare system—Practice Fusion's open platform enables a fully integrated experience for all users, regardless of the billing software they select.
"Practice Fusion's open platform is rapidly creating greater efficiency in healthcare and expanding choice for our providers. Our lab API has streamlined electronic results delivery, allowed us to connect to 230 lab partners in only 18 months, and we are now taking the same approach with billing," said Dan O'Neill, senior director of business development at Practice Fusion. "We will be working closely with our preferred partners to deliver a user-friendly, highly integrated experience for all of our providers, and we will open the billing API to other partners in coming months."
