The "Share Your Historia" campaign invites U.S. Latinos to share how they manifest their connection to Hispanic culture. The initiative aims to celebrate this affinity and to share insights into how it shapes the consumer choices U.S. Latinos make with a wider audience.
Hispanicize 2013 attendees can share their stories on site at the PR Newswire booth, booth #8, on video and via social media using Twitter hashtag #shareyourhistoria. PR Newswire invites participants to share affirmations and interesting details about U.S. Latinos' bicultural lifestyles, colorful insights and interesting stories.
"Our goal is to celebrate the vibrancy and sustainability of Hispanic culture in the United States," said Dalia Paratore, Director, Multicultural Products and Services, PR Newswire. "As the recent Nielsen report 'The Hispanic Market Imperative' indicates, 9 out of 10 Hispanic parents want their children to be able to speak Spanish, and that 60% of adults say they want to be more bicultural, all suggest that Hispanic culture in the United States is here to stay."
PR Newswire, a long-time sponsor of Hispanicize, will also invite attendees to stop by its booth to collect a Latin American flag sticker they can attach to their PRN "Share Your Historia" pin, and to participate in two Visa gift card raffles.
