PowerPlan Named A Georgia Fast 40 Company
Atlanta-based enterprise software firm honored for sustained growth in revenue, employment
ATLANTA, July 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- PowerPlan, an enterprise software company that optimizes financial performance for asset-centric businesses, has been recognized by the Atlanta chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) as one of Georgia's Fastest Growing Companies for 2013, earning the sixth spot among Upper Middle-Market Companies on the annual Georgia Fast 40 list.
The provider of integrated accounting, tax, budgeting and analytics software solutions was honored at the Georgia Fast 40 awards dinner and gala, held in June at the Intercontinental Hotel Buckhead in Atlanta. Collectively, PowerPlan and this year's other finalists increased revenues from $1.4 to $3.3 billion and added about 12,000 new jobs.
"Achieving this prestigious recognition as a Georgia Fast 40 company is a testament to the stellar work of all PowerPlan employees," said PowerPlan Chief Executive Officer John Andrus. "Our hard-earned reputation for delivering measurable business value to companies whose assets drive their revenues has been instrumental in driving PowerPlan's growth and success."
The Georgia Fast 40 award is one of three recent accolades the company has received. Earlier this year, PowerPlan was named to the 18th annual Atlanta Business Chronicle Pacesetter list of Atlanta's 100 fastest-growing private companies, and Andrus was honored as a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award for the Southeast region.
To qualify for the Georgia Fast 40, for profit companies must be headquartered in Georgia and have three years of verifiable revenue and employment growth, with the most recent year-end revenues ranging from $15 million to $60 million in the Lower Middle-Market category and from $60 million to $500 million in the Upper Middle-Market category. Rankings are objectively based on weighted three-year average growth in revenue and employment.
