CHICAGO, Aug. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- PowerOne Corporation of Chicago recently signed a channel representative agreement with AEP Energy, an affiliate of American Electric Power (AEP). Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, AEP is one of the largest electric utilities in the U.S., serving more than 5.3 million customers in 11 states. The agreement will allow PowerOne to act as a broker for AEP Energy's products and services to commercial, industrial and manufacturing organizations within deregulated electricity markets in the PJM Interconnection.
PowerOne is building a dedicated sales team to support this effort. This team will be headed by industry veterans with established track records of procuring sizable business accounts for competitive suppliers, such as AEP Energy.
