COLLINSVILLE, Ill., Oct. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Meeting Illinois Learning Standards is a key feature of the powerful electrical and natural gas safety lessons provided by the Ameren Illinois KidsActOnEnergy® initiative.
KidsActOnEnergy.com provides free educational materials, teaching guides and tests for teachers, as well as valuable information that will help parents. This fall, more than 50,000 students will have the opportunity to learn about electrical and natural gas safety through science, technology, engineering and math experiments and activities.

These materials support educational standards and are easily integrated into regular curricula. There are a variety of materials designed for students in grades K through 8.
