Power Home Remodeling Group Wins Second Consecutive Inc. Hire Power Award

CHESTER, Pa., Nov. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Power Home Remodeling Group, one of the nation's largest home remodeling companies, has been recognized by Inc. magazine in their annual Hire Power Award ranking of businesses that are positively impacting the U.S. economy through job creation. With 126 jobs created from January 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013, Power was honored as the No. 2 job creator in the construction industry and the No. 3 job creator in the state of Pennsylvania where the company is headquartered.

Power is one of 437 private companies that were chosen as Hire Power Award honorees this year, leading the way to job creation in America. Honorees from 25 industries including construction, healthcare, financial services, human resources and IT created more than 69,000 jobs in the 18-month eligibility period. This number becomes even more impressive when compared to a report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics that only 222,000 total full-time jobs were added in 2012.
