Power Home Remodeling Group™ Named to Future 50 List of Fast Growth Companies by Philadelphia SmartCEO Magazine
Company selected for impressive growth and job creation in Philadelphia region
CHESTER, Pa., Jan. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Power Home Remodeling Group (formerly Power Windows and Siding™), the nation's fourth largest home remodeling company, was named one of the 50 fastest growing companies in the Greater Philadelphia area by Philadelphia SmartCEO magazine. Under the leadership of CEO and Founding Partner Jeff Kaliner, the company has experienced a phenomenal three-year growth of 367 percent even through the economic downturn. In 2011, Power will expand into three new markets and is projected to add another 100 jobs locally and 400 up and down the East Coast with a focus on green products and energy efficient, environmentally friendly home solutions.
Future 50 is SmartCEO's largest and most highly anticipated program of the year, recognizing 50 local companies based on their revenue and employee growth over a three-year period. These companies represent the future of the region's economy and are exemplary leaders in business. This is the first annual Philadelphia SmartCEO Future 50 list, and Power joins a group of dynamic companies, which collectively employ 60,000 people and generate over $7 billion in revenue in Greater Philadelphia.
"Each Future 50 winner has effectively translated their passion and innovation into tremendous growth and success," says Jaime Nespor-Park, publisher of SmartCEO magazine. "We are honored to recognize the fastest-growing companies in Greater Philadelphia."
Power's burgeoning success in a rebounding economy led to the recent relocation of its national headquarters to the Wharf at Rivertown in the City of Chester, Pa. — ushering in hundreds of new, green jobs locally and nationally. Power hired more than 300 employees in 2010, and has doubled its workforce since 2007, reporting 900 full-time and part-time employees. More than 400 employees will be based at the new 58,000-square-foot state-of-the-art headquarters.
"We are honored to receive this acknowledgment from Philadelphia SmartCEO in recognition of our tremendous growth and job creation in a difficult economy," said Jeff Kaliner. "Our goal is to become the number one home remodeler in the country, and to translate our growth into job creation and stable employment opportunities at our headquarters here in Philadelphia — as well as across the U.S. within the next few years."
Winners were recognized at the Future 50 awards gala on January 20 in Philadelphia, and profiled in the January 2011 issue of Philadelphia SmartCEO. Philadelphia SmartCEO magazine is a regional "growing company" publication aimed at providing resources each month to help educate, motivate and inspire Philadelphia's decision-makers.
