Porter Novelli Names Mindy Gikas Executive Vice President, North American Talent Lead
NEW YORK, June 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Global public relations leader Porter Novelli today announced that Mindy Gikas has joined the company as executive vice president, North American talent leader. She will be responsible for leading employee engagement practices and career planning. She will report to Joseph Russo, Porter Novelli's chief operating officer.

Prior to joining Porter Novelli, Gikas spent three-and-a-half years at Ruder Finn, Inc., as senior vice president, Human Resources (HR) & Recruiting. She was responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR for the agency's U.S. operations, focusing on talent acquisition and development, employee relations, employment practices, compensation strategy and design and strategic leadership counsel. Before that she spent a total of nine years with Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide in various roles, most recently as managing director, Human Resources. In that position Gikas was responsible for handling executive level recruitment, talent management, succession planning and professional development for the U.S. operation. Earlier in her career she served in various HR capacities with Ergo Science Development Corp., Prime Hospitality Corp. and Driscoll Associates.
