Porter Novelli Names Jennifer Swint Managing Director of its Washington, D.C. Office
NEW YORK, Dec. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Global public relations leader Porter Novelli today announced that veteran strategic communications executive Jennifer Swint has joined the company as managing director of its Washington, D.C. office, effective January 1, 2014. Swint will be responsible for fueling Porter Novelli's growth in Washington and providing senior public affairs counsel to the agency's clients. She will report to Brad MacAfee, Porter Novelli's president, North America.

Swint's career has spanned Washington behemoths as well as her own start-up public affairs consultancy. She comes to Porter Novelli from APCO Worldwide, where she was a senior director overseeing the firm's business development function. Prior to APCO, she was president of Nine Dot Strategies Inc., an independent communications and public affairs agency she launched in 2008. Before that, she was a senior executive at Atlantic Media Company, including a year as president of Atlantic Live, developing and leading a newly-formed business unit focusing on all non-editorial aspects of the company including live events, qualitative/quantitative research and other potential growth opportunities. Also while with Atlantic Media, she was executive director at the National Journal's Policy Council. Before that she was an executive vice president with Powell Tate/Weber Shandwick.
