PORTSMOUTH, R.I., Dec. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- CDV Systems is offering a free 45-minute live presentation using a real-world campus and Revit project models to demonstrate the clear path of how BIM data is transferred from an AutoCAD Site plan & Revit to FM, GIS, & 3D Photo-Scanning.
This workflow consolidates all room & FF+E / MEP asset data (type & instance) from a multi-trade, multi-Revit model building project into a single SQL Server database. This same "open-source" SQL database then populates the entire building, room, asset lists & data to FM programs (WebTMA), three GIS programs (Blue Marble Global Mapper, QGIS, and ESRI ArcScene & ESRI ArcMap) and links each unique room to a full-building 3D Photo-Scan. There is no longer a need to "hand enter" any list of assets per room into FM or GIS.
This presentation defines all major steps for any property owner who wants to link BIM to FM, GIS & 3D Photo-Scans.
