Pop/Rock Group Hey Monday Make Network TV Debut on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live Tonight, September 22nd

HEADLINE TOUR BEGINS OCTOBER 20th
NEW YORK, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Columbia Records -- Hey Monday has a quite a media blitz in store for fans over the next few weeks leading into their U.S. headline tour. First off, the band will make their network television debut tonight on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live, where they will perform their current single, "I Don't Wanna Dance," as well as fan favorite "Wish You Were Here." Hey Monday will then guest star and perform "I Don't Wanna Dance" on The CW's new hit show Hellcats next Wednesday, September 29.
In addition, MySpace Music recently selected Hey Monday to be part of their "Transmissions" performance series, and have the set slated to launch on Friday, September 24. Then just before their headline tour begins, on October 18, VEVO will premiere the Hey Monday "GO SET," which was filmed live in Harvard Square.
The band will embark on a 32-city headlining tour beginning October 20 in support of their recently released EP Beneath It All, which debuted at #25 on the Billboard Top 200. Hey Monday spent the summer of 2010 on this year's Warped Tour, and is eager to begin playing new songs and old favorites for their growing fan-base. Full tour dates are listed below.
Hey Monday is made up of Cassadee Pope (lead vocals/guitar,) Mike Gentile (lead guitar/vocals,) and Alex Lipshaw (rhythm guitar/vocals). Since releasing their debut album Hold on Tight two years ago, the band has sold nearly 500,000 songs, graced the cover of several magazines in the U.S. and overseas, and have received more than 28 million plays on MySpace. The band has been featured on MTV's "The Real World: Brooklyn" and most recently on "Silent Library," and the new video for "I Don't Wanna Dance" premiered across MTV's channels in July. Hey Monday has garnered a worldwide fan base including 200,000 followers on Twitter and over 340,000 Facebook fans.
