Popghum a Hit at Farm Aid 25: Growing Hope for America

ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Popghum was on hand as a stadium concession and as a Family of Food Sponsor at last Saturday's Farm Aid concert at Miller Park Baseball Stadium in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Family of Food Sponsor program is specifically designed to support backstage catering efforts. Popghum's gift helped reduce event costs, and put more dollars to work on behalf of family farmers.
"Words can't express how excited we are to have been invited to participate in this year's show," said Dan Gadra, Chief Executive Officer, Popghum. "These artists have worked to raise awareness of how critical the family farm is to the American way of life since 1985. We're glad we could be there for them, and we look forward to contributing more in the future."
This year's concert lineup included: Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews, Kenny Chesney, Norah Jones, Jason Mraz, Jeff Tweedy, Band of Horses, The BoDeans, Amos Lee, Robert Francis, Lukas Nelson and The Promise of the Real, The Blackwood Quartet, and Randy Rogers Band.
As part of the sponsorship, Popghum was listed in Farm Aid's concert media press release about Good Food at Farm Aid, on signage in the catering tent, and in a special Farm Aid program book.
As a concession Popghum was truly a hit, with the cashier selling Popghum reporting brisk sales throughout the show.
Popghum can be purchased in stores, and is available online at shop.virginiaspecialtyfoods.com.
