Politico: DNC Ad Swats 'Corporations Are People' Comment

WASHINGTON, Aug. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Democratic National Committee is up with a broadcast and cable ad in Des Moines, featuring footage of Mitt Romney's now-famous "corporations are people" comment and warning voters: "Mitt Romney stands with the tea party: Up to 35 percent cut from Social Security, but not one more dime from corporations."

It's the second DNC ad of the cycle and the first to be directed at a single Republican presidential candidate.

The back-and-forth over Romney's "corporations" comment is one of those situations were both sides seem to think they're getting the better of the issue, as Romney doubled down on the remark yesterday in New Hampshire.
