Policygenius Named the 2019 Best Insurtech Company

NEW YORK, April 10, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Policygenius, the leading online insurance marketplace, announced that it was named the Best Insurtech Company of 2019 by Fintech Breakthrough, an independent organization that recognizes the top companies and products in the industry.

The Fintech Breakthrough Awards program had more than 3,500 nominations from all over the world this year. The nominations were evaluated by an independent panel of experts within the financial services and technology industries. The winners are chosen based on a variety of criteria, including most innovative and technologically advanced products and services.

Jennifer Fitzgerald, the CEO and co-founder of Policygenius, started the company in 2014 with her co-founder, Francois de Lame. They saw the pain points of old school insurance models and decided to do something about them.
