The Police Unity Tour's motto is "We Ride for Those Who Died" and is one that each rider seriously embraces. Participants not only train hard for the 300 mile average ride, each rider will raise more than $1,700 to raise awareness and financial support for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.
The Tour's five spokes will converge in Washington, DC on May 12th when they will ride into the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial at approximately 2:00pm to the cheers of thousands of family, friends, colleagues and supporters.
Along their routes, riders will be stopping over at 10 Target stores to further the group's primary mission of raising awareness of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. Target is a generous sponsor of the Police Unity Tour and the overall law enforcement community.
