Polaris(R) Unveils New Slingshot(R) 2016 Spring Line-Up

MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Polaris® Slingshot® is broadening its color palette with the introduction of the new 2016 spring line-up. Consumers at the 2016 Chicago Motorcycle Show and the 2016 Chicago Auto Show will be able to see the new line-up first hand, including a new Limited Edition White Pearl SL. This new model showcases powder coated red accents, an interior lighting kit and blacked-out cast aluminum wheels, making it the most eye-catching vehicle on three wheels.

Slingshot is also introducing two new colors to its line-up: Gloss Black and Turbo Silver SL, while keeping the highly popular Red Pearl SL. The 2016 spring line-up is also outfitted with new all-black seats and the SL models feature bold new graphics to stand out on the road.

Slingshot® Trim Levels:
Slingshot® is now offered in three distinct trim levels for a limited time only. The base Slingshot® has a starting U.S. MSRP of only $21,499 featuring Gloss Black paint, 17 inch lightweight alloy wheels upfront and an 18 inch wheel in the rear. The premium Slingshot® SL, with a starting U.S. MSRP of only $25,499 features either Red Pearl or Turbo Silver paint, larger 18 inch cast aluminum wheels upfront and a 20 inch wheel in the rear, as well as a blade windscreen for wind protection. It also features a media console with a 4.3" LCD screen, back-up camera, Bluetooth® integration and a 6-speaker audio system. The Slingshot® SL LE offers all of the same upgrades as the Slingshot® SL, but on top of that will include the stunning White Pearl paint color, Indy Red powder coated frame, swing arms, springs and front-arm suspension, a tinted wind deflector, an interior lighting kit and blacked-out cast aluminum wheels. The Slingshot® SL LE in White Pearl has a U.S. MSRP of $26,499.
