RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif., April 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- PMC is pleased to announce the launch of Carbon Conscious, a one-stop online resource for sharing new ideas and information on climate change and greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction strategies. Designed and introduced by PMC, a leading environmental and planning services firm, www.carbonconscious.us is a planning and public engagement site for municipal governments, climate change authorities, LEED accredited specialists, and grant writers who are looking for up-to-date information on climate action plans and policies, mindful resource planning, community engagement and sustainability practices.

In California, municipalities are working to meet GHG reduction and Climate Action Plan (CAP) requirements under AB 32 and SB 375. Other states are adopting similar GHG emissions reduction targets and programs.
