SILICON SLOPES, Utah, July 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Pluralsight, the enterprise technology learning platform, today announced the newest member of the Pluralsight team and head of social impact, Lindsey Kneuven. In this newly created position, Kneuven will lead the company's philanthropic initiatives, implementing strategies that align Pluralsight's product, culture, community, people and brand to make a meaningful impact on the way the world learns.
"We are excited to have someone of Lindsey's caliber join our team," said Aaron Skonnard, co-founder and CEO of Pluralsight. "Her expertise and experience leading some of the strongest social impact programs in Silicon Valley will be invaluable as we create our future and lift the human condition through technology in communities around the world."
Kneuven has demonstrated success leading teams within a variety of organizations. Most recently, she was chief impact officer at Cotopaxi, where she developed and led the organization's philanthropic strategy while also building and sustaining various nonprofit partner relationships. Under her leadership, Cotopaxi developed and implemented a computer science education program for refugee youth, later adopted by the International Rescue Committee.
"I am honored to be joining Pluralsight and to be opening a new chapter of the company's history," said Kneuven. "The company—the people, the culture and the mission—already embrace a vision and commitment for making a positive impact around the world. I'm looking forward to building on that momentum and developing innovative strategies to achieve lasting social change while establishing Pluralsight as a global leader in integrated philanthropy."
Prior to Cotopaxi, Kneuven served in senior management at Silicon Valley Community Foundation, the largest community foundation in the world, managing $7.3 billion in assets. She also held a number of philanthropic positions with nonprofit and private organizations, including Nuru International and Salesforce Foundation. Under Lindsey's leadership, Salesforce Foundation's grant program was named among the top 3 percent of corporate foundations that provided "assistance beyond the grant" by the Center for Effective Philanthropy.
