SILICON SLOPES, Utah, Aug. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Pluralsight, the enterprise technology learning platform, today announced the appointment of DJ Anderson as vice president of communications. With more than 20 years of experience building strategic communications programs for public and private companies, Anderson will lead Pluralsight's internal, external and executive communications.
"DJ's reputation as a master storyteller and her profound ability to leverage communications to drive organizations forward is an incredible asset," said Heather Zynczak, CMO at Pluralsight. "She has a strong track record as a leader, and has demonstrated a knack for uncovering and sharing thoughtful stories throughout her career. We look forward to leveraging her strategic counsel as we continue to expand our enterprise efforts and increase market awareness."
Prior to joining Pluralsight, Anderson served as head of communications at Upthere, Inc., a personal cloud storage company, which she launched out of stealth and beta. She also spent five years at Yahoo, where she led global communications for the company's products and technology. Under her leadership, Yahoo launched 32 products in 2013 that transformed the media and user opinion of the company. She also promoted Yahoo's technology, science and innovation businesses, including Yahoo Labs, technology platforms, developer relations, research and development, and data centers.
"Pluralsight's commitment to closing the technology skills gap through a powerful model hooked me," said Anderson. "It's rare to find a company that couples a strong, mission-driven culture and leadership team with a platform that offers real value to users across the globe. I'm excited to be joining Pluralsight at this pivotal moment in time, and am looking forward to seeing the real impact we're going to make on the world."
