Plug and Play Tech Center Partners with Fenox VC to Host Startup World Cup on the US West Coast
SUNNYVALE, Calif., July 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Startup World Cup is partnering with Plug and Play Tech Center to host the US West Coast regional startup competition. This regional competition will be held on February 2nd, 2017.
Startup World Cup is a global conference and competition aimed to bridge startup ecosystems worldwide. There will be 15 regional events across North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia that lead up to the Grand Finale in San Francisco, California. This is the first ever event of its type, organized by Fenox Venture Capital, a Silicon Valley-based multinational VC firm.

The winner of the pitching competition will represent the US West Coast at the Grand Finale and will compete alongside 15 other startups from all over the world for a chance to win a US $1,000,000 prize in investment.
The Grand Finale will take place in San Francisco, USA on March 24th, 2017. Eric Feng of Kleiner Perkins, David Cohen of Techstars, Kevin Hale of Y Combinator, Tim Draper of Draper Associates and DFJ, and Adeo Ressi of Founder Institute will be on the distinguished judging panel that will decide which startup wins the US $1,000,000 prize. Additional judges will be disclosed at a later time.
