Plug and Play Insurtech Targeting Sector Specific Innovation: Life, Health, Group Benefits Demo Day
SUNNYVALE, Calif., April 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- To reflect the diverse needs of the market, Plug and Play Insurtech has divided into three tracks: General Insurtech, Property & Casualty, and Life/Health & Group Benefits. Less than a year after its launch on May 26, 2016, this insurance-focused Innovation Platform has grown to consist of 40 corporate partners and 50+ startups in the program to date.
In recognition of this expansion, Plug and Play Insurtech will hold an event on April 27, 11:30am-6:30pm focusing on Life Insurance, Health Insurance, and Group Benefits. The event will feature two panels with executives from various insurance companies including Michael Taht, SVP of Life Reinsurance at Munich Re, Louise Billmeyer, Vice President and CIO US Insurance Solutions at Principal Financial, and TEDx speaker Mohan Nair, SVP and CIO at Cambia Health Solutions. Topics of discussion include business transformation challenges facing insurance companies and new technologies and products in life insurance. In addition to these discussions there will be startup pitches, demo tables, and an extended networking section for everyone to meet.
