PLS Appoints Interim President and Chief Operating Officer

Growth Executive to Drive Further Expansion

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- PLS Logistics Services today announced the appointment of Ron Stanley as Interim President and Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Company's Board of Directors. These appointments, which are effective immediately, follow the departure of John F Gallardo to pursue other interests. The Board has commenced a search for the permanent President and will work closely with Mr. Stanley to select the next leader of PLS. Following the selection of a new President, Mr. Stanley will remain on the Board of Directors and will continue to work closely with PLS.

Ron Stanley has spent more than thirty five years in the transportation and logistics industry in key executive positions with some of the industry's most prominent companies, including Landstar System, CF and Roadway. Most recently, Mr. Stanley was the Chief Operating Officer of Landstar System, an asset-light transportation company with annual revenue in excess of $2 billion.
