PLH Group Acquires TTR Substations and Increases California Presence
IRVING, Texas, Sept. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- PLH Group, Inc. ("PLH"), a portfolio company of private equity firm Energy Capital Partners, today announced its acquisition of TTR Substations, Inc. ("TTR"), a full service electrical substation contractor.
Effective September 3, 2013, PLH has acquired TTR. With headquarters in Fresno, California, TTR provides services to construct and upgrade electrical substations across California. TTR delivers infrastructure services in the areas of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), GIS and SVC work, equipment and control scheme testing, civil construction, project management, certified welding, and material procurement and storage.
"TTR will strengthen PLH's existing capabilities to deliver premium, safety-focused power line construction services to the electric transmission industry," said Mark Crowson, PLH President and CEO. TTR will be an operating unit of PLH, and its current senior management and employees will remain in place.
