News Crews are Invited to the AC Boardwalk which is NOT Damaged and is Opening New Attractions, Nightclubs and Restaurants for Memorial Day Weekend
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., May 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Since Super Storm Sandy hit the Jersey Shore in October 2012, Atlantic City has battled the misperception that the famed Boardwalk was destroyed in the storm. Due to the storm's track, Atlantic City's tourism district suffered minimal damage. People mistakenly believe that the damaged boardwalks and amusement piers they saw on broadcast news programs were in Atlantic City, which is not true. Atlantic City is open for business.
