Playtex is on a Quest to Help Women Find Their Perfect Fitting Bra

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Playtex, the country's most well-known intimate apparel brand, is airing a series of web videos featuring 10 women who won a Playtex bra makeover trip to New York City with style expert Alison Deyette.
"Through professional bra fittings, we helped these women find a fit with Playtex bras that is comfortable and makes them feel more confident everyday," said Deyette, a fashion and lifestyle trend expert who is often featured on television programs and national women's magazines. "These 10 women represent some of the most common fit issues, and we hope their makeovers inspire other full-figured women to find a perfect fitting Playtex bra."
The 10 women flew to New York after being chosen from among 3,000 who applied for the bra makeover trip on PlaytexBraMakeover.com. The bra makeovers, hosted by Deyette, are being featured as webisodes on the website with a new episode airing every two weeks through December.
Throughout the Playtex Bra Makeover fitting process, Deyette discovered that the majority of the women were wearing the wrong size bra. Other common issues Deyette uncovered included a lack of proper bra support, slipping or digging straps, back bands that ride up between the shoulder blades, and the constant struggle to find a proper fitting bra in attractive colors and styles that suits a woman's needs and personalities.
"We solved all of their bra problems," said Deyette, who has been featured on Bravo's Millionaire Matchmaker and TLC's Ten Years Younger, as well as in print publications including Good Housekeeping, The Washington Post, and O Magazine. Traveling from nine different states, the 10 women selected were a diverse group ranging in age, size, occupation, and bra fit issue. For most, this was their first time in New York. After seeing the sights of the city together and sharing their bra stories, the women felt a kinship and bond, claiming the Playtex Bra Makeover was a life changing experience, boosting their self esteem and instilling a new sense of self confidence.
