Playster Pledges Support To Big Brothers Big Sisters Charity

The multimedia streaming platform is giving back and encouraging members to do the same.

MONTREAL, Dec. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - Playster, the world's first all-in-one entertainment app, is extremely proud to announce its pledge to donate at least $100,000 per year to the Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) charity.

All new Playster members are encouraged to support the non-profit organization, which matches at-risk kids with caring mentors, by adding an optional monthly donation to their subscription package with the click of a button. Starting as low as $1.25/month, Playster is making it easier than ever to give back to local communities with 100 per cent of donations going towards BBBS efforts. 

"As a self-funded charitable organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters relies on communities to help support our much-needed programs," says Francesca Corso, a local BBBS executive director. BBBS pairs children with mentors who offer a listening ear, encouragement and all-around fun with outings ranging from paintball games to science museum trips. Members' donations will help fund activity programs, as well as background checks for mentors.
