DETROIT, Nov. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- With a new year and new location, Plastics News will be taking its annual conference to the next level by adding new special sessions and more resort options. Plastics News Executive Forum is being held February 4-6, 2015, at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa, only 20 miles from the Las Vegas Strip.
"Plastics News' Executive Forum is one of the oldest and longest-lasting events in the plastics industry, for good reason," said Plastics News Conference Director Joseph Pryweller. "But it was time to transform this venerable meeting into one offering practical tools for success that can enable further growth. With a focus on such areas as leadership skills, sales and marketing keys, innovation creation, and locating the right young talent for your company, this event has become more relevant and necessary for any plastics manufacturer looking for growth opportunities."
Now in its 17th year, the conference offers a comprehensive understanding of leadership in the plastics industry, focusing on how leadership skills can translate to business success. This year, the conference will also feature a panel discussion from Rising Stars in Plastics under 30, a session that highlights how different major companies train and retain some of the top talent in their fields.
Attendees will hear a keynote address from Jeffrey Anderson, president and CEO of the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, a former executive with R.R. Donnelley, and co-founder of a prominent association for executive coaching professionals. Anderson's session, titled Building Relationships and Influencing Others: Unlocking On of the Secrets of Successful Leadership, highlights his own experiences and underlying science on how great leaders excel at building relationships and influencing those around them.
The Forum will feature best practices from the Processor of the Year and Excellence Award winners, unveiled at the conference. Plastics News will also announce its second annual Best Places to Work in the plastics industry.
This year's additional features are focused on enhancing attendee's overall experience. The conference has been shortened by a day to make it more convenient to attend. The conference also features a golf outing and a spouse track option. The spouse track allows access to all evening receptions at the conference, spa treatments and lunch in the village.
Attendees are sure to leave with takeaways that can help any company succeed with hands-on tools that can sharpen their business acumen. To learn more visit www.plasticsnews.com/PNEF2015 or for sponsorship opportunities contact Patrick Cannon at [email protected].
