Planet3 to Showcase New STEAM Digital Learning Platform at ArtPrize Eight
Chief Science Officer Dr. Albert Yu-Min Lin to speak on the importance of art and innovation for the future of our planet
WASHINGTON and GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Sept. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Planet3, an exploration-based learning company, today announced that it will showcase its new digital learning platform at the ArtPrize® Eight event in Grand Rapids, Michigan from September 21 through October 9. Planet3 will participate in the event as a part of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Village powered by Switch, the Nevada-based developer of the world-renowned SUPERNAP data centers that is currently developing the largest data center campus in the eastern United States at the Switch Pyramid in Grand Rapids. Switch's passion for STEAM education and partnership with ArtPrize created the opportunity for the Planet3 showcase.
Planet3 will also host a talk on Thursday, September 22, entitled "The Art of Science," featuring Chief Science Officer, Albert Yu-Min Lin, Ph.D.
Planet3 is an exploration-based learning company that ignites a passion for lifelong learning in STEAM subjects and empowers students to solve the complex challenges of our changing planet.
