Planet Fitness Abilene Hosts Open House to Showcase New Equipment

ABILENE, Texas, Dec. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Planet Fitness Abilene is reopening its doors after upgrading the facility and outfitting the club with new equipment. The club is celebrating the renovation with a ribbon cutting ceremony on December 13^th at 4 p.m. and a $2,500 donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Abilene. The donation is part of the company's national philanthropic initiative, The Judgement Free Generation®, which aims to spread kindness and end bullying faced by youth today. Representatives and Club kids from the Boys & Girls Club of Abilene will attend the grand opening event, along with staff from the Abilene Chamber of Commerce.

Upgrades within the revamped Abilene location will provide members access to state-of-the-art rowing machines, all new strength equipment and upgraded 30 minute training circuit. Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Planet Fitness Abilene is located at 2540 Barrow Street.
