Planes, Trains and 'BlogMobiles': One Nation Working Together Supporters Embark on Nationwide Journey
Bloggers to report on people's concerns in route to October 2nd national march in Washington
WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- With fewer than seven days before thousands of people from across the country come to Washington, D.C. to join a massive Oct. 2nd rally at the Lincoln Memorial, six Californian activists will board the One Nation Working Together "BlogMobile" (www.onenationca.org) to blog about the concerns of those they meet on their journey.
These "citizen journalists," who represent a cross-section of people across America, will stop in seven cities during their trip, reporting on issues facing everyday people including jobs, justice, and public education. The BlogMobile, a RV, will "sign on and push off" on Saturday, September 25 at 10:00 a.m. from Los Angeles. During its weeklong trip, the One Nation Working Together BlogMobile will make stops in Riverside, California; Phoenix; Albuquerque; Oklahoma City; Pine Bluff, Arkansas; Atlanta, Georgia and Charlotte, North Carolina before arriving in Washington for the march. On the day of the march, they will join with people from all 50 states who will travel by trains, planes, buses, and automobiles to participate in this historic movement.

One Nation Working Together is a rapidly growing movement of everyday people across America – people of all backgrounds, hues and faiths – who have come together to reclaim our country: to reclaim it from those who evade the people's priorities instead of investing in them. We are working to put America back to work and pull America back together. There are more than 400 organizations endorsing the goals of the 10-2-10 march—moving us beyond divisive politics. We know the time is NOW to work together so that every person in this country can achieve the American Dream: a good and secure job, equal rights under the law, and access to quality public education for all children.
