NEW YORK, Jan. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- PlacementTracker, the leading source for data and analysis to institutions in the PIPE and Private Placement markets, today announced the most active investment banks, investors, and law firms in the U.S. PIPE market for 2016.
A total of $42.7 billion was raised in 875 transactions throughout 2016. Of this amount, 9 transactions totaling $61.2 million have been announced but not yet closed as of 01/12/2017. Deal volume is down 2% (897 deals in 2015) but dollar volume increased 8% ($39.6 billion in 2015).
