SALT LAKE CITY, May 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- placemedia, the fully automated supply side programmatic platform for linear TV, announced today the addition of Chris Raleigh as Chief Commercial Officer, a new position where he will oversee inventory aggregation with media company partners and company wide revenue generation from advertisers, agencies and demand side partners. Raleigh, a cross platform media industry veteran, has headed sales teams at leading broadcast and cable networks as well as online, mobile and local TV properties.
Raleigh was most recently Senior Vice President, Cable and Cross Platform Sales at The Weather Company where he managed the national sales team of The Weather Channel and weather.com, known for its innovation with data, targeting and programmatic solutions. Previously, he managed cross platform ad sales for Liberty Media/Sony owned GSN and NBC Network News, Late Night, Daytime dayparts prior to the start up, Tech TV (acquired by Comcast in 2004).
