Industry Veteran Rick Hofmann sees Intuitive as ideal fit for Smart Encryption strategy
MILWAUKEE, June 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- PKWARE, the leading provider of Smart Encryption solutions, has named Rick Hofmann as vice president of North American Channels and Alliances to lead its re-launched channel program. In the first of a series of strategic channel partnerships, Intuitive Technology Group has joined PKWARE and Hofmann's efforts to satisfy demands from business leaders for flawless data security.
Hofmann will lead PKWARE's vision and strategy for partners in North America across all routes to market, including solution providers, service providers, distributors, OEMs, systems integrators and outsourcers, and independent software vendors (ISVs). As PKWARE's market offerings have evolved from compression to data security, the demand for sophisticated encryption-based solutions has grown rapidly. More than ever, Hoffman said there is a need to recruit security-oriented resellers and system integrators as channel partners.

Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Symantec, first running the enterprise OEM sales organization and later leading the $1.1B U.S. commercial reseller organization. In a two-decade technology career at vendors such as ON Technology and Cyclone, Hofmann has also held roles in product management and business development.
