Pittsburgh Wine Festival Celebrates 10th Anniversary With 30 Percent Off Ticket Offering
PITTSBURGH, Feb. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The tenth annual Pittsburgh Wine Festival will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012, in the East and West Club Lounges at Heinz Field. For a limited time, beginning Tuesday, February 28, tickets will be offered at 30% off the original price, a savings of up to $75 per ticket. VIP tasting tickets will now be $175, and Grand Tasting tickets will be $87.50.
With nearly 200 wineries from California, France, Italy, Australia, Spain and New Zealand already committed to attending the event, Dale Markham, General Manager for the festival, thinks this will be one of the best years yet.
"This unique event is a great chance to sample some of the world's best wines – all in one place," said Markham. "As in past years, we will have great music and food stations. The 10th Anniversary festival is expected to have a record number of attendees – 2,500 guests."
The event will include an extensive selection of collectible and vintage tastings. Winemakers and local representatives will host their tables all evening and will be on hand to answer questions and discuss their signature wines with guests. The VIP tasting will run from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. and the Grand Tasting will be from 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M.
