Pittsburgh Whiskey & Fine Spirits Festival Hits The Catwalk At Rivers Casino

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The eighth annual Pittsburgh Whiskey & Fine Spirits Festival struts back to Rivers Casino on Friday, October 24, 2014. This year, over 1,500 guests are invited to wear their fanciest, fashion forward attire at the Runway themed event. During the festival, attendees can sample luxury liquors, indulge in delicious hors d'oeuvres and try their luck at any of the casino's games.

This year's festival boasts several exciting interactive vendor displays. Jim Beam brings their "Make History" campaign to life with their booth titled "I'm Beam." Guests are invited to have their picture printed on a label next to the seven generations of Beam Family Distillers which will then be placed on a bottle of Jim Beam for them to take home.

Laphroaig Scotch Whiskey encourages attendees to sample the whiskey in a private tasting booth and then share their opinion anonymously about the experience via provided digital tablets in their #OpinionsWelcome booth. 

Absolut Vodka honors Andy Warhol with a display dedicated to the famous, Pittsburgh-born artist. In addition to a few surprises that Absolut has up their sleeve, they will also be highlighting their limited edition, limited production Andy Warhol Absolut bottle, modeled after Warhol's 1986 painting of the iconic bottle.

Dale Markham, General Manager for the festival, is thrilled to once again partner with the charity Team Tassy.
