Pitbull Wows the Crowd at Daniel E. Straus CareOne Masquerade Ball for Puerto Rico Relief Effort
Founder of NJ Based CareOne Raise $4Million for the Victims of Hurricane Maria
NEW YORK, Oct. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Daniel E. Straus, owner and operator of senior care company CareOne, raised $4 million to aid Puerto Rico victims of Hurricane Maria, at the Starry Night Masquerade Ball held at New York City's Skylight Clarkson North last night. The evening featured special performances by Pitbull and JoJo with 100% of ticket and sponsorship proceeds made immediately available through the Gwendolyn and Joseph Straus Charitable Fund of Care One for Puerto Rico relief efforts.
Notable attendees included Chanel Iman, Johannes Huebl, Joan Smalls, Danielle Brooks, Victor Cruz, Jason Pierre-Paul, Harry Carson (NY Giants), Bart Oates (NY Giants), Carl Banks (NY Giants), Tony Richardson (NY Jets), Howard Cross (NY Giants) and the evening's host, CNN anchor Jason Carroll..
With deeply rooted family values of compassion and charitable giving, Daniel E. Straus and his daughter, CareOne Executive Vice President Elizabeth Straus, mobilized the effort to provide aid and raise funds for Puerto Rico.
