Pioneer Services donates $1 to charity for every free download of Military Spouse Guide
Company recognizes role of military spouses and families during Military Appreciation Month
KANSAS CITY, Mo., May 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- To celebrate National Military Appreciation Month this May, and recognize the sacrifices and courage of those who serve our nation, including their spouses and families, Pioneer Services is offering free e-book downloads of its award-winning Military Spouse Finance Guide, Financial Advice for the Homefront at www.MilitaryFinanceGuide.com.
In addition, Pioneer Services will donate $1 to a non-profit that assists military spouses and families for every copy downloaded in May, and visitors to the site can choose which specific branch of the military they want to assist: the Army (AUSA Family Programs), Navy/Marine Corps (Navy League), or Air Force (Air Force Aid Society).
"We wanted to find a unique way to recognize military spouses and families during National Military Appreciation Month, while also giving them something of value," said Karen Von Der Bruegge, the executive in charge of corporate social responsibility for Pioneer Services. "This campaign manages to do both: families get to learn more about their finances with an award-winning book, and they get to choose to assist a charity that is helping military families every day. It's easy, simple, and free."
