Pinnacle Dermatology Completes Acquisition of Van Dam Dermatology & Laser Center as it continues its expansion in the Illinois market

LOMBARD, Ill., March 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Pinnacle Dermatology is pleased to announce it has expanded further in the Illinois market with the acquisition of Van Dam Dermatology and Laser Center, located in Barrington, Illinois. Pinnacle Dermatology is a leading dermatology practice dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Dr. Van Dam has practiced in Barrington since 1979 and, in addition to Van Dam Dermatology and Laser Center, is the founder of Versa Medi Spa, Chicagoland's first medical spa owned and directed by a board-certified dermatologist. Dr. Van Dam earned a Master of Business degree (MBA) from The University of Chicago in 2007 and is dedicated to continuing medical education, attending hundreds of courses and symposia on general dermatology, dermatologic surgery, laser technology, and aesthetic dermatology as well as remaining current with the medical journals and educational audio courses and podcasts on all aspects of dermatology.  Dr. Van Dam is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.  In addition to seeing dermatology and cosmetic patients, Dr. Van Dam will serve as the executive Director, Retail Products for Pinnacle Dermatology.
