CINCINNATI, Jan. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pilot Chemical Company Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of James J. Hohman as a Director of the Company, effective immediately.

Most recently, Hohman served as corporate Senior Vice President of OMNOVA Solutions Inc., and as President of OMNOVA's Performance Chemicals business segment.
Prior to joining OMNOVA's parent company, GenCorp, as Director of Strategic Business Development for the Specialty Polymers business segment, Hohman held numerous key management, business and marketing positions with BP Chemicals and BFGoodrich.
Hohman earned a bachelor's degree in Honors Chemistry from The Ohio State University and MBA from the University of Louisville. He was a member of the Corporate Visiting Committee of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Strategic Review Executive Taskforce of the American Chemistry Council, as well as a former member of the Advisory Board of The Ohio State University's College of Math and Physical Sciences. From 2002 to 2010, he also served as a founding board member for RohmNova, a joint venture company owned jointly by OMNOVA Solutions and Rohm & Haas Corporation.
