ST. PAUL, Minn., Jan. 2, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Smart Data Solutions, a MN based collateral-processing and workflow automation service, today announced that Pierre Kormann has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Before joining Smart Data in October, Kormann was most recently COO at Storeworks Technology, a provider of retailer technology and consulting, where he was responsible for day to day company management, including sales development, PMO, engineering, logistics and IT. Prior to Storeworks, Kormann was COO at Comm-Works, a global technology systems integrator, where he was responsible for leading PMO, engineering, vendor management, procurement, logistics and field operations. Kormann helped expand globally and established new lines of business.
At Smart Data, Kormann will be responsible for Operations, which include the Document Intake Processing Center, Clearinghouse services, BeneQuick enrollment portal and others.
"I am extremely excited to join Smart Data. With an impressive core team and their commitment to customer success, Smart Data is poised to become the industry leader in technology automation. I look forward to being part of the continued growth," Kormann commented.
Kormann will bring a combination of customer focus and process improvement to his work in ensuring Smart Data's customer success initiatives. Having extensive experience leading companies through growth, Kormann will also focus on establishing a strong foundation to accommodate continued expansion.
"Smart Data has been very fortunate to have experienced such growth in the last 4 years and Pierre, along with the other new executives, are a step in the right direction. We want to make sure we're always responding to our customers' needs; however, without another layer of responders, we're going to fall behind," said Pat Bollom, founder and co-CEO of Smart Data. "New processes, tighter security, and experienced leaders, like Pierre, are really rocketing us forward."
