HELENA, Mont., Aug. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- "I would say that people come to Montana because they want to be in the mountains," said Neil Chaput, "they want to be away from the big crowds, and they want to be out in nature."
In Top of the Class, photographer Neil Chaput and Rocky Mountain School of Photography lead students on a photo expedition through Big Sky Country. Neil, who trained under the famed naturalist photographer Ansel Adams, turns Montana into a natural classroom for aspiring photographers. The school draws students from around the world who are looking to capture the perfect shot of Montana's unspoiled beauty.
Top of the Class is episode 19 in the Discover Your #MontanaMoment video series and can be viewed on VISITMT.COM.

"I've been to Fiji, I've been to Chile, and the mountains of Canada," said student Maria Trujillo. "But Montana is an area that has a soul."
With over 40 years of teaching experience, Neil leads students on a one-of-a-kind photography tour of Montana's golden forests, wave-crested rivers, and picture perfect mountain peaks.
"…Photography has changed a whole lot," said Chaput. "But the landscape of Montana still looks just as beautiful as it's always looked."
